摘要
We present in this study a Be-10 profile from a deep-sea sediment section extending to 3.5 Ma. The Be-10 concentration ranges at 2-14 x 10(8) atoms/g and shows a clear decay trend. The flux of Be-10 ranges at 1-5 x 10(6) atoms/cm(2) y and averages at approximate to 2.5 x 10(6) atoms/cm(2) y. Enhancements in the Be-10 record occur at the paleomagnetic reversals and excursions suggesting strong effect of changes in the geomagnetic field intensity. Indication of climatic-related variability is also observed from the generally higher Be-10 Values during interglacial compared to glacial periods. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
