摘要
The elastic stiffness matrix of the fee phase of solid C-60 has been determined experimentally on the basis of sound velocity measurements in monocrystalline specimens of different crystallographic orientations. The following values of elastic moduli were obtained: C-11 = 1.49 x 10(10) N/m(2), C-12 = 0.88 x 10(10) N/m(2) and C-44 = 0.66 x 10(10) N/m(2). The results are compared with theoretical estimations of elastic moduli and previous experimental data on the elastic properties of solid C-60. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
