摘要
ZnO nanorods were prepared by annealing a precursor powder using KCl as flux. The precursor powders were produced in a novel inverse microemulsion (ImuE) system. The influence of the synthesis temperatures, salt and surfactant on the formation of ZnO nanorods was investigated. The length and diameter of ZnO nanorods were tens of micrometers and from 30 to 80 nm, respectively, under different conditions. The microstructure of the resultant nanorods was studied by means of XRD, TEM and X-ray photoelectron spectrometer. It was found that ZnO nanorods were single crystalline and pure. The nucleation and growth processes explain the formation mechanism of ZnO nanorods. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
