摘要
It has been proposed that jet pumps should be used to evacuate drainage and seepage water from hydroelectric power plants. When the pressure of the working fluid is reduced, the pump effieciency will drop. Pump effieciency can be maintained using self-regulating jet pumps. A method for calculating the variation in the characteristics of a jet pumps as the external working parameters are varied is described. When the effective head is reduced, it is possible to restore the delivery head of the jet pump by increasing the discharge velocity of the effective flow.
