摘要
This work incorporates the identification of model in functional form using curve fitting and genetic programming technique which can forecast present and future load requirement of an Indian grid. Here new fitness function has been used in the genetic algorithm, the forecasting result has been compared with other model to find suitability of a model in this regional environment. © 2014, The Institution of Engineers (India).
