摘要
The synthesis, physico-chemical characterization and catalytic activity of boron-containing molecular sieves (boralites) are reviewed and discussed. Incorporation of boron in the silica framework of several phases has been assessed by structural and spectroscopic evidence. Compared with the aluminosilicate parent compounds, boralites display weaker acid strength sufficient, however, for catalyzing several reactions.
