摘要
Case report: We report a case of an ectopic pregnancy in a caesarean section scar, which was initially misdiagnosed despite using ultrasound. For the first time, a strongly vascularised pelvic tumour developed while the titre of serum human chorionic gonadotrophin decreased after a curettage abortion for an unwanted pregnancy. Outcome: Due to uncontrollable haemorrhage, an emergency hysterectomy had to be performed 8 weeks later. © Springer-Verlag 2005.
