摘要
Liquidus temperatures have been determined in the high-lime part of the system CaO-Nb2O5 with the high-temperature hot-stage microscope. The existence of a compound having the composition 11CaO·2Nb2O5 and melting congruently at 2105 °C was indicated and also the probable existence of a compound with the composition 5CaO·Nb2O5, melting incongruently at 2065 °C. Phase relations below 1600 °C of compositions near 4CaO.Nb2O5 were interpreted from the results of differential thermal analyses and X-ray diffraction powder patterns of samples quenched from various temperatures. © 1969.
