摘要
Perturbation theory of the restricted primitive model is applied to some simple electrolytes and compared with experimental data of activity coefficients. The theory fits the data well with only one parameter, the diameter of the ion. However, the fitted diameter is inconsistent with Pauling's diameter. © 1990 American Chemical Society.
