摘要
The application of capillary electrophoresis in industrial laboratories is discussed starting with basic instrumentation and separation principles. Typical separations are then discussed: free zone electrophoresis of peptides, proteins and urines, isoelectric focussing and micellar electrokinetic chromatography. Its advantages and disadvantages in comparison to conventional analytical techniques are discussed and further needs in capillary electrophoresis instrumentation are finally outlined.
