THE FORWARD X-RAY-SCATTERING FACTOR OF COPPER FROM A SELF-CONSISTENT DATA-BASE

摘要
The forward X-ray scattering factor of copper has been determined over an extended energy range using dispersion (Kramers-Kronig) analysis of the measured absorption. The analysis required that the scattering factor have the correct high-energy (relativistic) and low-energy limits. This is an advance over previous studies where only one or the other limit was obeyed. The resulting scattering factor over the complete spectrum is in significantly better agreement with both interferometric measurements at specific wavelengths and general theory. © 1990.
