摘要
A magnetic modulation of gain in a CW chemical oxygen-iodine laser (COIL) is proposed for several regimes of laser generation. An experimental verification of the feasibility of a direct magnetic modulation of gain in the active zone of COIL utilizing the Zeeman effect is demonstrated. The possible applications of this technique to control the laser generation in COIL for technological purposes are outlined too.
