摘要
Previous treatments of the low-frequency a.c. conductivity in strongly (Coulomb) correlated systems in terms of cluster currents and the distribution of contributing clusters have given somewhat vague definitions of the pertinent clusters. A treatment of the current at long times after the sudden application of a d.c. field can overcome this vagueness, and make the theory more transparent. Results given here are in agreement with previously published results, when transformed into the frequency domain, and give a clear interpretation of the physics of the low-frequency conduction process in terms of d.c. conduction. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
