摘要
After describing a few analytic models of epidemics of plant diseases, the author gives examples for their application under constant conditions, then deals at greater length with the use of analytic models in a changing environment. Changing environment is integrated into simple assumptions about the time functions of the parameters involved. Then this approach is used in a more complex situation, in which epidemics of barley powdery mildew are mimicked in a changing environment. This analytic model is then generalized to situations in which several races of one pathogen interact, again explained with examples from barley powdery mildew. -from Author
