摘要
The rheological behavior of cetylrimethylammonium bromide and sodium dodecyl sulfate reverse micelles in alkanols has been studied. For both surfactants the systems behave as non-Newtonian fluids; they present thixotropy that decreases as the chain length of the alkanol increases and the viscosity decreases with the shear rate until a constant value is reached. This infinite-shear-rate viscosity increases with the chain length of the alkanol and it mainly depends on the surfactant content.
