摘要
:
Root tip demography of a 43 year old Sitka spruce stand was determined over a two year period. 32, 000 root tips were examined. 16 mycorrhizal types were found, with one type forming nearly 70% of the tips examined. Level of infection was high, with 94% of the tips being mycorrhizal. Ordination analysis of the data indicates that organic matter accumulation and moisture availability may be important in determining mycorrhizal population structure. © 1990.
