摘要
A first attempt is made to test the recently advanced hypothesis that the behavior of surfactant solutions in flow through porous media is due to shear. Various simple possibilities are tried, which associate some mean shear rate and shear stress, respectively, with a given porous medium flow situation. Our results seem to favor the hypothesis mentioned. All the experiments were carried out using an aqueous equimolar mixture of the cationic surfactant C16TMA-Sal (hexadecyltrimethylammoniumsalicylate) and the electrolyte NaBr at 45°C.
