摘要
The principal objective of this note is to present data which can be used to further test a proposed mechanism for the process by which a solvent molecule moves through the polymer matrix. A secondary objective is to present new diffusivity and solubility data for n-alkane diffusion in amorphous polystyrene. The proposed mechanism for solvent self-diffusion is discussed, and data for testing this mechanism are presented and interpreted.
