摘要：

An 80-year-old man presented with an epidermoid tumour of the middle-third of the oesophagus. The subtotal oesophagectomy was performed by thoracoscopy (for dissecting the oesophagus) and laparoscopy for the gastroplasty. The oesophagogastric suture was made through a cervical approach. The post-operative course was dramatically easy and the patient was discharged on day 9.
