摘要
:
The conditions for optimal performance of monostatic coherent laser radar for a diffuse or aerosol target at a given range are derived by using functional maximization techniques. Expressions are derived for two cases: the optimal local-oscillator field given the transmitter–receiver optics and transmitter laser field, and the optimal transmitter field and local-oscillator field given the transmitter–receiver optics. © 1990 Optical Society of America.
