摘要
The direct observation of metal-metal vibrations at an electrode surface by infrared spectroelectrochemistry is reported and discussed. Far-infrared spectra of the lithium-gold, gold-gold, and lithium-lithium interactions at a gold electrode surface in lithium perchlorate solutions are presented. A mechanism for surface-induced dipole moments is discussed.
