摘要
An all-fibre WDM broadcast network has been demonstrated, employing fused fibre splitters and 10 stages of Erdoped fibre power amplifier, capable of distributing 16 wavelength channels, each modulated at 2.488 Gbit/s, to 43.8 million customers from a single head end over a distance of 527 km.
