A 134 MHZ BANDWIDTH HOMODYNE OPTICAL PHASE-LOCKED-LOOP OF SEMICONDUCTOR-LASER DIODES

摘要
Experiments on homodyne phase-locking of 7.5 MHz spectral linewidth semiconductor laser diodes were carried out. A very fast speed optical phase-locked loop (OPLL) with a 134 MHz bandwidth has been achieved with a phase error variance of 0.15 rad2. The total phase-locked power was 86% of output of the slave laser. Slow speed OPLL's with the electrically frequency stabilized semiconductor laser diodes are also demonstrated for the first time.
