摘要
Several tetraazaporphyrins (TAPs) have been characterized by electronic absorption, fluorescence, and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectroscopy, together with electrochemical methods. The absorption coefficients (epsilon) and band positions change markedly with changing TAP structure and solvent. The potential differences of the redox couples of tetra-tert-butylated TAP skeleton are closer to those in general porphyrins than phthalocyanines (Pcs).
