摘要
The mixed alkali effect is investigated in the tellurite glass system 30[(1-x)Li2O.xNa(2)O]:70TeO(2)(x=0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0) through (i) electrical conductivity and (ii) glass transition temperature measurements. The isothermal conductivity, sigma, activation energy for the conduction process, E(a), and the glass transition temperature, T-g, all showed non-linear behaviour upon substitution of one alkali ion by another, with minima in sigma and T-g at Na/(Na + Li) approximate to 0.6, as in borate glasses. The experimental results discussed in the light of current mechanisms (interchange transport process and 1-D conduction process) along with the relevant structural aspects show that the interchange transport mechanism operates in both single and mixed alkali tellurite glasses.
