摘要
The mobilities of the ions present in a plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane containing Ca2+, BPh4- (at < 4 mM) and an excess of the ionophore ETH129 have been measured. The contributions of the cation (Ca2+(ETH129)2) and anion have been separated by measuring steady state currents in a thin-layer cell. The ratio of the cation mobility to the anion mobility lies between 2.4 and 1.4 over a range of temperatures (20-50-degrees-C) and PVC contents.
