摘要
2,3-Dimethyl-4,6-diphenylquinoline is an initiating quinoline derivative with a UV absorbance wavelength longer than that of 2,3-dimethyl-4-phenylquinoline. Therefore, Light-induced solution polymerizations of methyl methacrylate in the presence of the hydrogen donator bis(2-ethoxyethyl) ether result in increasing overall polymerization rates by using this new UV initiator system.
