摘要
The C-13-NMR spectra of four oils containing gamma-linolenic acid (evening primrose, borage, blackcurrant and oil of javanicus) are reported and discussed. Most of the signals have been associated and particular attention is given to signals associated (a) with acyl chains in the alpha and beta-positions and (b) with gamma-linolenic acid in contrast to other acids present in the oils. The signals for C-1, C-2 and C-3 can be used to determine the distribution of gamma-linolenic acid between alpha and beta-positions for these four oils.
