摘要
A comprehensive account of crystallochemical features of the Bi2 (Sr, Ca)3 Cu2 O8.21 structure is given in comparison with earlier models of this superconductor and with recent findings on related compounds exhibiting similar structural modulation. The reliability of the model described is supported by analyzing of local coordination polyhedra of the bismuth, copper and alkali ions.
