摘要
Currently used left ventricular assist devices allow chronic mechanical cardiac support in the patient with endstage stage heart failure. Recognition and treatment of problems uniquely associated with this device may be increasingly important for the invasive cardiologist as application of this this technology becomes more prevalent.
