摘要
The advancements of high pressure synthesis and the recent developments in chemically vapour-deposited diamond afford us the luxury to conceive exciting new applications using these materials. With metallic inclusions and impurities no longer prohibitive in terms of semiconductor technology and the opportunities for combining these processes and compositing with like and unlike materials it is now possible to probe areas of application hitherto untouched by diamond crystals.
