摘要
Dry asymmetric poly(ether imide) membranes were prepared by the phase inversion technique under different conditions to investigate their performance for separating volatile organic compound/nitrogen gas mixtures. The membrane performance was further tested under different operating conditions such as operating temperature, feed vapor concentration, and the pressure on the permeate side of the membrane. A set of transport equations was proposed for the membrane permeation of organic vapor/gas mixtures. The validity of the transport equations was tested by their applicability to describe the experimental data.
