摘要
The effects of hydrodynamics on domain growth and scaling in a two-dimensional binary fluid are studied. Using a Langevin model for the binary fluid, we find a narrow range for the value of the fluid-order-parameter coupling below which domains grow asymptotically as t1/3 (Lifshitz-Slyozov) and above which they grow as t0.46±.02 and t0.72±.02 for off-critical and critical quenches, respectively. The small x behavior of the scaled structure function varies as a function of this coupling. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
