Fitting Weibull distribution to ultraviolet solar radiation data

摘要
The aim of this paper is to fit theWeibull probability distribution to recently published data on monthly average daily ultraviolet (UV) radiation over Kuwait. The goodness-of-fit of the Weibull model is demonstrated both graphically and via several statistical tests such as modified Anderson-Darling, Cramer-von Mises, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests. As a result, we can estimate statistical measures associated with monthly average dailyUVradiation data such as the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of the monthly average daily UV radiation over Kuwait.
