摘要
Experiences on crystal growth of calcite doped with Pb2+ using the method of travelling solvent zone melting (TSZM) are reported. Optical absorption, polarized luminescence, excitation spectra, decay times and relative quantum yields of the Pb2+ centres are studied in their temperature dependence. The properties found for the A(A′, α) bands of Pb2+ are discussed and compared with those in other hosts. Copyright © 1990 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
