摘要
To study the genetic control of perillene formation in the glandular trichomes of Perilla frutescens, a novel chemotype (PL) containing perillene as a major component of the volatile oil was crossed with plants of the perillaketone (PK) and elsholtziaketone (EK) types. Analysis of F1 and F2 progenies showed that perillene is accumulated in plants lacking a dominant gene J which presumably controls the oxidative conversion of perillene into egonmaketone. © 1990.
