摘要
The formalism of the analytic signal and its complex envelope is used to model the interaction between an acoustic wave and a moving target, by Doppler effect. In the communications field, this is a popular way of modulating a signal to be transmitted. In the present context, the modulation of the acoustic wave (probing wave) results from the interaction between wave and target. In the experimental part of the work the preceding theoretical tools help to extend the measurement of a target velocity from the case of a constant velocity to the case of a time-dependent velocity. © 1990 IEEE
