The synthesis, spectroscopy and electrochemistry of double-decker lanthanoid phthalocyanine complexes Li[(Pc)Ln(Pc)] (Ln represents trivalent ions of La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu and Pc are the divalent anions of phthalocyanine) are reported. These complexes were obtained by new synthesis methods.
