Organometallic catalysis in aqueous media is studied by several persons in the article. Although aqueous media has been applied in organometallic catalysis, cerrosities among industrial chemists are still rampant. The factor which is in question is how to make the catalysts soluble in water. With the synthesis of ligands and determining their effects on catalytic activity and sensitivity the question is resolved. Another question is the environmental issue that can be resolved by virtue of new processing opportunities. Studies towards the manufacture of new ligands are enumerated and explained carefully in the later parts of the article.
