摘要
Reactions between Ru5(mu-5-C2PPh2)(mu-PPh2)(CO)13 and CH2 = CHCH2X (X = Cl, Br) have given two types of cluster complex which have been characterised by X-ray diffraction studies. In the first, 2-X, an RuX(CO)2(eta-C3H5) moiety, is attached by X and PR3 bridges to an Ru4{mu-4-C2PPh2}(mu-PPh2)(CO)10 cluster. The second, 3-X, is isomeric with 2-X and contains an Ru5 core which is a metallated rhombus; the organic ligand, which has been formed by linking of CO, C2 and C3H5 groups, bridges all five Ru atoms. Likely routes to these complexes are discussed.
