摘要：

Prednisolone was separated from hydrocortisone by selectively forming the H2O soluble derivative of the latter and extracting the prednisolone into the organic phase. Within 45 min 97% of the hydrocortisone reacted; no appreciable reaction with prednisolone occurred. Currently this separation procedure is being adapted to a radioimmunoassay of prednisolone in plasma. The initial results are encouraging, and the Girard reagent T did not interfere with the radioimmunoassay of prednisolone.
