摘要
Hydro-Quebec has studied many alternatives for Improving the transient performance of their large power system. Among the alternatives were exclusive application of SVC's at many locations, which extends existing experience, or adding series compensation to their major 735 kV lines and making the system work in conjunction with a smaller number of SVC's. This paper reports on the SVC control stability studies undertaken as part of that overall system Improvement project. © 1990 IEEE
