摘要
With the planned synthesis of thermally stable, mononuclear bis(carbyne) complexes and the subsequent C-C coupling of the two carbyne ligands to give an alkyne, F. Filippou et al. have been able to fully confirm the mechanism of C1 + C1-coupling reactions using tungsten complexes. This mechanism could also play a role in the C-C-coupling reactions of carbonyl- with carbonyl- and of carbonyl- with isocyanide-ligands to give the corresponding alkyne ligands (see also Communication on p. 1167ff.). C1 + C1 coupling of the carbyne ligands to form an alkyne ligand (2 --> 3/4, see Scheme 1).
