FERMION MASSES AND CP VIOLATION IN A MODEL WITH SCALE UNIFICATION

It is observed that the scale-unifying model based on supersymmetry and compositeness provides a natural reason for the family mass hierarchy m(e)BAR << m-mu-BAR << m-tau-BAR and links spontaneous CP violation to the nonvanishing mass of the electron family. Some of its predictions include (i) K0-K0BAR and K(L) --> mu-eBAR are normal, but (ii) Z --> tcBAR, cuBAR, and mu-eBAR have observably large strengths allowing for single top production at the CERN e+ e- collider LEP II, and (iii) d(n) almost-equal-to (0.5-10) x 10(-26) e cm.
