摘要
This study reports vibrating-reed measurements of Young's modulus and internal friction made as a function of temperature, from 50-400 K, on single-crystal whiskers of Bi2Sr2CaCU2Ox with T(c) almost-equal-to 75 K. The modulus along a is found to be lower than any earlier reported value for this material. Comparisons are made to results of previous work conducted by different methods and on platelet samples with higher T(c).
