摘要
The influence of the nickel additions in the Nd2Fe14_xNixB (x=O, 5, 7, 10, 14)magnets on the kinetics and mechanismof e1ectrochemical corroaion in 0.5 M H2SO4and Na2SO4 solution has been determined on the basis of potentiokinetic polarization curves and corroaion rates in the passive and strong cathodic range. It has been stated that the replacement of part of the iron with the nickel causes a strong decrease of acid corrosion rate of the alloys tested, whereas the additions of nickel evidently worsen the behaviour of the alloy in the passive range and make it easier to hydrogenate the alloy at strong cathodic polarizations, which leads to mechanical degradation of the alloy surface. © 1990 IEEE
