摘要
An experimental system has been designed to work under high pressure with very small amounts of catalyst. The catalyst is contained in a suitable shaped quartz insert to avoid side reactions. Moreover, because of the very small dead volumes, the system provides rapid information about the heterogeneous catalytic reaction being studied. Hydrogenation of benzene over a sulphided Ni/Mo catalyst was chosen as a test reaction.
