W-CONDENSATE FORMATION IN HIGH-ENERGY COLLISIONS

摘要
We point out that there exists the possibility that a W and Z condensate is formed at LHC and SSC collider energies. The condensate can be triggered by the strong transient magnetic field present during the collision, and/or by the creation of magnetic flux tubes in weak interactions. The condensate is assumed to be metastable, and decays into W's, Z's leptons and/or quarks. Thus it should show up in an anomalous production of these particles.
