DETERMINATION OF COAL REACTIVITY IN CATALYZED HYDROLIQUEFACTION

摘要
An optimized experimental procedure was used for the evaluation of the catalytic activity of various pure and doped iron oxide based catalysts in the hydroliquefaction of two different rank coals. A multi-stage operation (sulphidation, pre-hydrogenation, thermal stage), is combined with the measurement of several parameters: coal conversion into soluble products, hydrogen incorporation, kinetics of hydrogen uptake, solvent recycling capability. The influence of the particle size of the active phase was established; incorporation of small amounts of molybdenum produces a strong doping effect. © 1990.
