摘要
Experimental results on electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power for FeCl3 (CuCl2) - doped polyvinyl alcohol-polypyrrole composites, with polypyrrole content exceeding the percolation threshold, are presented. The electrical conductivity and the thermoelectric power are analyzed in terms of the hopping theory. A model involving both the intrinsic resistance of the fibrils (V.R.H. hopping mechanisms) and the resistance of the junctions between fibrils (fluctuation-induced tunneling conduction) has been retained. The reduction of Fe(III) in Fe(II) and Cu(II) in Cu(I) during the polymerization reaction is discussed on the basis of XPS analysis results.
